Bright Theatre Festival 2018

Project Bright's 2018 Theatre Festival concluded with the performance of six one-act plays at East Lyme High School at 7:00pm on Saturday, August 4th. The theatre festival will featured artists from all over the Northeast, from Boston to DC. The event started on Friday (August 3rd) evening with writers working from 7:00pm through the night to draft a 10-20 page one-act play. Directors met with writers at 7:00am on Saturday morning to discuss the scripts, and then actors joinrf the directors at 8:00am and worked throughout the rest of the day to practice, rehearse, and memorize the plays.

Proceeds from the suggested $5 donation and our sponsors help support Project Bright, an organization dedicated to promoting mental wellness and suicide prevention.

A special "thank you" to the sponsors of the festival...
