About Us

Project Bright
Our hope is to provide mental health education and information about supportive resources to members of our communities whose lives have been touched by mental illness and suicide while also presenting family-friendly music and poetry performances.

The Bright Music Festival

Many people who excel in the creative arts also struggle with depression, anxiety and even suicidal thoughts. The Bright Music Festival lets the talents of young adults in our community shine while promoting mental wellness and suicide prevention. Bright showcases young adult performers, featuring live music by popular local bands and spoken-word poetry along with free activities to help you relax and reflect. While enjoying the performances, people of all ages have the chance to try wellness activities such as yoga and massage along with other empowering creative activities. Bright is a family-friendly festival held in late spring each year at McCook Point Park.
